在矛盾中完善自身——中国古代人性、人学、文学深层关系略论

中国古人认为人性是性与情对立统一的矛盾体,与之相关的人学则探讨了如何保持本性,脱于禽兽和如何追求完美,比齐圣人的问题。而文学既作为了一种人们认识、反思自身的参照物,又成为人学探讨人性的手段,并作为一个过程与人学融合在一起。三者之间,由矛盾沟通,相互影响,并最终指向完善自身的终极目的。

Striving for Perfection in Contradiction-On Relation among Human Nature, Human Studies and Literature in Ancient China

Ancient Chinese thought that human nature is the unity of two opposites： nature and lust. The human studies associated with the human nature probes these issues, such as how to keep the human nature in order to avoid becoming brute and how to achieve perfection to be a saint. Literature, as the reference of human recognition and self-reflection, is not only the means by which human studies probes human nature, but a process that inosculates with the human studies. The above three contradict and interact with each other so as to achieve final perfection.
