| 摘 要： | 中世纪晚期英国的交通运输条件不断改善,基本形成了全国性的水陆结合的较为完善的交通运输体系。陆路交通在罗马古干道的基础上修建了许多新道路,形成了以伦敦为中心辐射全国的城乡道路系统;水上运输依托优越的自然条件,内河航运与沿海运输相结合,构成了相互交错、四面通达的水路交通网络。交通运输能力的提高促进了英国社会经济的发展,推动了英国社会的深刻变革。

| Abstract: | In the late Medieval England,the conditions of transport were improved constantly and a relatively comprehensive national transportation system with land and water was formed.Based on the ancient Rome roads,many new ones were built and a national road system with London as the hub took shape.Relying on the advantageous natural conditions,river transport and coastal shipping together constituted a relatively well-developed water transportation network.The improvement of transport capacity promoted the development of English economy.As a consequence,profound changes took place in English society. |
