日本近代启蒙思想在中国的传播形式及其汉译评析

The Form of Propagating Japanese Modern Ideology of Enlightenment in China and the Comment on Its Translation into Chinese

The "book translation upsurge" in early years of 20th century had promoted the propagation of Japanese modern ideology of enlightenment in China. Most of the translations from Japanese into Chinese at that time were in poor quality and very few were in top quality, hut it is inevitable for the translation from Japanese into Chinese to go from childishness towards maturity. It is the "book translation upsurge" that brought up the rise of translation circles, the prosperity of translation activity and the abundance of capable translators in China at the beginning of new century, and this is its real value.
