从“嫉妒说”到“他者”的理论转向——论莎士比亚的《奥赛罗》兼及对主人公文化身份的理解

莎士比亚的著名的四大悲剧之一的《奥赛罗》曾经引起无数的争议,其中“嫉妒说”长期在《奥赛罗》研究中占据了统治地位,尽管一批著名莎学家、文学家从各种角度对嫉妒一说进行了否定,指出“嫉妒”并不能令人信服地全面解释《奥赛罗》中蕴涵的人文主义思想光辉。从“他者”文化身份认同危机的角度,可以看到不断被强化的文化身份认同危机是造成悲剧的根本原因。中国改编莎剧也注意到《奥赛罗》中文化身份的差异。

As one of four great tragedies,Othello has even caused disputes."Theory of Jealousy" has occupied dominant position for a long time among the Othello Scholars although renowned Shakespearean scholars and man of letters deny "the theory of jealousy" from different perspectives.These scholars point out that "the Theory of Jealousy" cannot be satisfactory to explain all in Othello,especially the glorious humanism in the work.From the perspective of Culture Identity Crisis of "The Other",we can see that the intensified culture identity crisis is the main cause of the tragedy.When the Chinese scholars adapted Shakespeare's plays,they also paid much attention to the difference of culture identities.
