| 摘 要： | 批评界对威廉·卡洛斯·威廉斯的代表作《佩特森》的评价褒贬不一。一般来说,负面的批评认为该诗在结构上松散混乱。文章经过对该作品内部结构仔细分析后认为,在《佩特森》前四卷中人与城市互相照应,互相联系,其交织性结构使得诗中并置的众多碎片结合为一个统一体。

| Abstract: | Critics do not agree on the value of William Carlos Williams's masterpiece Paterson.Generally,the negative criticism focuses on the assumption that the poem is structurally chaotic.After a careful analysis of the inner s tructures of the first four books of Paterson,the author of this paper holds that in this poem man and city reflect each other,and the interlacing structure of the poem enables the various fragments to unite into a unified whole. |
