| Abstract: | With vivid character portrayal and humous and ironic language, Pride and Prejudice has become one of classic novles in literature history. It reflects the status of middle class women in marriage during the trasitioanal period between the 18th and 19th century. This paper aims to explore Jane Austen＇ s views on marriage by analyzing four types of marriages in Pride and Prejudice. |
