摘    要:高校担负着培养社会主义和谐社会建设者和接班人的重任。高校必须站在历史的高度,把坚定正确的政治方向放在第一位,为建设和谐社会努力培养和造就高素质的人才、“八荣八耻”社会主义荣辱观具有鲜明的时代特征,体现了继承与创新的统一,为和谐社会的道德建设竖起了新的标杆,应成为高校思政工作长期坚持的基本主题和立足点、出发点,结合实际,作者阐述和分析了在高校思政工作中开展“八荣八耻”社会主义荣辱观教育的意义、途径和做法,具有一定的借鉴指导意义.

Abstract:The mission of colleges and universities is to cultivate socialist successors and builders for the harmonious society. Therefore, colleges and universities should stand at the summit of history and firmly put the correct political direction in the first place so as to foster qualified talents for the nation. This paper reveals that Eight Honors, Eight Disgraces, with its striking time characteristics, is also a combination of inheriting and innovating. It sets up new standards for the moral education and should be taken as the main task and standpoint of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The paper also illustrates the significance, approaches and methods of implementing Eight Honors, Eight Disgraces education in colleges and universities, which will be of significance to the practice in the relevant field.
