| 摘 要： | 1927年至1937年间的中国火柴工业发展状况,从一个行业的角度为我们研究中国近代工业的发展特点提供了一些值得注意之处。民族工业求生存求发展的强烈意愿、国民政府努力提高关税税率,使中国火柴工业取得了抗御洋货倾销、扩充国货生存空间的可喜成绩。但中国近代社会内部的痼疾———农村经济落后导致的农民生活水平低下、购买力薄弱,从根本上制约了民族火柴工业的发展。市场狭小下的白热化竞争,使年轻的中国火柴工业很早就自动走上了行业“统制”的道路。
