A New Perspective of the Arrangement of Senses

It is intended to discuss the principles of the arrangement of senses in English Dictionary.First,it draws comparisons among three traditional principles of the arrangement of senses and describes their strengths and weaknesses respectively.Secondly,it introduces conceptual metaphors and demonstrates their effects on the vocabulary acquisition.Thirdly,it lists some typical examples on how to establish vocabulary modules and to maintain the deepest relations among the senses of one entry.
