Abstract: | In the North America of today regional distinctiveness has become more pronounced. Economically, socially, and politically, local uniqueness of individual communities shines through. The issues in the Northeast, the Midwest, or the Sunbelt often seem very different from one another. As the Jewish community approaches another turn of the century, the challenges facing bureaus, boards and central agencies will likely be special to each community. |
