| Abstract: | More than" or "more...than..." is a most frequently used phrase."More...than..." means "It's more true to say...than..."More than" means formally "to a degree at which '...' is no longer a strong enough word." However,both phrases have many other meanings some of which are emphatic,rhetorical and even irreplaceable.In the essay,five more meanings will be discussed. |
