目的论视角下汉语新词英译研究

社会的飞速发展和科技的不断进步使反映了中国社会新事物的新词不断涌现。在中西方交流日益频繁的今天,汉语新词的英译对于帮助外国人及时了解中国的社会生活极其重要。针对这一现象,以目的论为指导,从直译、意译、回译以及运用混成法、类推法这五方面对汉语新词英译进行了详细的探讨。这些翻译策略能使译者达到准确、恰当翻译汉语新词的目的,具有较强的可操作性。

A Study of Chinese Neologisms Translation in the Light of Skopos Theory

As the rapid development of society and technology advances, the neologisms ol new mmgs in Chinese society constantly spring up. China and West communication increasingly frequent today, Chinese neologisms Translation is extremely important for help foreigners to understand Chinese social life in time. According to the phenomenon, with the guidance of skopos theory, this paper discussed the Chinese neologisms translation in details from five aspects, including literal translation, free translation, back-translation, composite method and analogy method. These translation strategies have strong operability, and makes translators translate the Chinese neologisms accurately and properly.
