中国加入世贸组织后，高等教育的发展面临严峻的挑战，高等教育的大众化转轨提上日程，本文针对我国经济发展的现状论述了高等教育大众化转轨的必要性．提出了实现高等教育大众化的建议对策：更新高等教育质量观；调整优化教育结构；创新学科专业体系。

Accelerating the Popularization of Higher Education

After china joining in WTO, the development of higher education faces grim challenge. Popularization of higher education becomes urgent. According to the present situation of the economic development in china, this paper mainly analyses the necessity of higher education popularization, poses some strategies on realizing the popularization- renewing the quality view of higher education; adjusting and optimize education structure; creating a new subject and major system.
