扬州西汉墓陪葬木俑初探

作为西汉诸侯王国的都城所在地,扬州目前已发掘的西汉木椁墓中出土了较多陪葬木俑。这些木俑分别经历了西汉前期、西汉中期和西汉晚期前段、西汉晚期后段共三期四阶段,其形制按内容可分为人俑和动物俑两大类,种类丰富、造型生动。这些西汉墓陪葬木俑的发展与当时的社会发展状况、外来文化的影响以及自然环境因素有着密切的联系。

On Wood Funerary Figurines in Western Han Tombs of Yangzhou

There are many unearthed wood funerary figurines in Western Han Chamber Tombs excavated recently in Yangzhou, the once capital of the princedoms in Western Han Dynasty. These wood figurines, which had various themes and vivid modeling, underwent four stages from the early, middle and late periods of Western Han Dynasty. The development of these wood funerary figurines is closely related to the status of social development at that time, the influence of foreign cultures and natural environmental elements.
