| 摘 要： | 英汉主语和主题的功能相异,汉语注重表意,英语注重结构。英汉互译时,常出现主题句和主语句的转换,互译时要顺应目的语的思维方式和语用习惯而作出适当的调整。

| Abstract: | The subject and the topic have different functions in English and Chinese.As Chinese is a parataxis-prominent language and English is a hypotaxis-prominent one,EC/CE translation frequently involves a shift from the subject-prominent pattern to topic-comment pattern,or vice versa.Thus in EC/CE translation proper adjustment must be made to accommodate the pattern of thinking and the usage of language peculiar to the target language. |
