新时期高校图书馆外文期刊建设的新策略

现阶段我国高校外文期刊建设中存在外文期刊价格昂贵,高校教育经费不足和负责外文期刊资源建设的管理人员水平偏低等问题,为此,需要采取以下新的策略来应对:一是对传统的印刷型期刊资源结构进行优化调整;二是全方位地开发互联网上免费的外文期刊资源;三是组织集团采购,引进外文期刊数据库,实现资源共享;四是通过电子邮件的方式大力发展文献传递服务,加强高校间的交流合作;五是加强高校图书馆外文期刊专业管理队伍的建设.
