Discussion on Political and Military Administrative Strategy in Western Regions in Early Tang Dynasty

At the prophase of Tang Dynasty,the Western Regions expanded unprecedentedly and the number of states and races in the area increased greatly.The complicated relations among states and races confronted the Tang Dynasty with a series new problem in managing politics and military affairs in this area.In the light of this,the Dynasty adopted a set of political and military policies and strategies accordingly.The ruling of the Western Regions in this period ensured the stability of Tang Dynasty's western area,improved its international status,and promoted cultural and economic exchanges between China and foreign countries.But it brought a heavy financial burden to the central government,thus undermining the Fubing System and burying bane of separatist warlord regimes.
