Abstract: | One of the most common complaints of teachers and lecturers who have tried to use television as a teaching medium is the inordinate amount of time it takes to record even the simplest programme. At the University of Edinburgh a method of recording Mathematics teaching programmes has been devised that is both economical in the use of the teachers' time and effective as a teaching aid. The programmes were intended to be used by students for self‐help instruction, but they have also been used successfully in small group teaching. |
