| Abstract: | This paper, from the perspective of Relevance theory, proposes that when teaching listening, teachers can improve teaching efficiency by applying the Relevance theory. Under this theory, teachers can instruct students to make deduction in such aspects as understanding words, deducing pragmatic meaning, distinguishing homonyms and so on. |
