| 摘 要： | 英语拟声不仅是一种构词方法,也是一种生动逼真的修辞手段.它在发展过程中发生了一些语义转移现象.具体表现为名词性转义、动词性转义、形容词性转义和副词性转义以及英语习语中的拟声词转义几方面,同时,英语拟声词也是开放性词类,具有相当的可滋生性.

| Abstract: | English onomatopoeia is one of the figures of speech as well as word-formations.In the course of its development,transferred semantic meanings occur,including transference in nouns,verbs,adjectives and adverbs as well as idioms,accounting for the fact that English onomatopoeia belongs to the open-class,which is strikingly productive. |
