| 摘 要： | 感染伊氏锥虫(10~5/只)后24小时的NIH小鼠,用不同浓度的DL—a—二氟甲基鸟氨酸(DFMO)水溶液饲喂治疗,连续3天,结果表明,以1％,2％和4％DFMO治疗的小鼠,疗后30天未见虫血症,用其血液及脑组织感染健康的NIH小鼠,也没有出现虫血症,治愈率均达100％。实验证明:DFMO是一种很有发展前途的新型抗锥虫药。

| Abstract: | Inbred NIH mice were infected with Trypanosoma evansi (10~5/mouse) for 24 hours and then treated per os in drinking water for three days with DL-alpha- difluoromethylornithine(DFMO). The drug at 1%, 2% or 4% was 100% curative. When examined 30 days after the therapy, the three groups of mice showed no evidence of recradescence. Evidence of complete cures was demonstrated by the inability of blood and brain tissue to infect healthy mice. The results presented provide further evidence of the efficacy of DFMO as a promising anti-trypanos- ome drug. |
