| Abstract: | Both public and private educational institutions coexist in Brazil, where both compulsory and free educations are performed in secondary schools. The educational system in Brazil comprises 3 stages: elementary school, middle education, high school and postgraduate school. Students have to pass an entrance exam to university after the secondary level. |
