摘    要:民国是中国教育现代化进程中的重要时期。无论从搭建教材批评的平台、教材内容形象化的探索、考虑不同地区儿童生活经验和学习程度的差异来说,还是从众多教育名家参与教材的编写方面来说,都为我们现在的语文教材建设奠定了坚实的基础。但过分地强调儿童需要而缺少社会价值、重视外国经验忽视民族经验、强调生活实用忽视人格修养等不足,也值得我们深刻反思。总结并借鉴其成功的经验,反思其不足,对我们今天的教材建设和发展有着积极的意义。

Abstract:Republic of China (1912-1949) is an important period in the process of China's education modernization. This historical period provided us with a solid foundation for the construction of the present Chinese textbooks because the work in this period formed a platform for criticizing Chinese textbooks, because the textbooks made some explorations in their visualization of their contents, because it paid much attention to the variation of children life experience, and because there were many famous scholars involving the compilation of the textbooks. However, the work in this period overemphasized children's needs while lacking of its corresponding social value, preferred foreign experience to national experience, paid too much attention to practical life utility rather than the cultivation of moral qualities. We can learn from their successful experiences and avoid reapeting mistakes.
