词块学习与英语口语教学

Lexical Chunks Learning and Oral English Teaching

Lexical chunks which contain the characteristics of both lexicon and syntactic structure, provide great guidance to oral language teaching. Lexieal chunk approach fits the characteristics of oral discourse, and can help college students to understand the speech rules, relieve the pressure in their oral communication and promote their fluency and accuracy in oral speech. So, lexical chunks are regarded as an idea unit which can be exploited for language teaching. But we also should pay attention to the classification and selection of lexieal chunks in oral English teaching.
