| 摘 要： | 科技英语（EST）的翻译在实用翻译中占很大比重,而长句在科技性的英语文本中出现得极为频繁;由于英汉两种语言在句法结构上差异较大,加之科技英语术语较多、专业性强、词性转化多等特点,对译者准确理解原文及贴切地表达译文产生诸多困难。本文结合实例探讨科技英语翻译中长句处理的基本方法和有效策略。
