| Abstract: | Vanity Fair has been regarded as a magnum opus of William Makepeace Thackeray, the critical realism writer in the 19th century. This paper provides a discourse analysis of partial parts of this novel from the perspective of stylistics, in the hope that the analysis may help the reader reach a more thorough and penetrating interpretation of this work. |
