| Abstract: | Theoretically guided by Saussure＇s linguistic philosophy,based on Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis and inspired by cross-cultural communication theories,this paper focuses on the formation and evolution of ethnic slurs with the underlying ethnocentrism from three perspectives in history,geography and national culture characteristics,which in turn illustrates and reflects the inherent interaction between language and culture. |
