| Abstract: | Combined with examinations of the social, cultural and religious conditions in Shakespeare's age,the structure and the characters of the heroines in the comedy "The Taming of the Shrew" are analyzed, and as a result, Shakespeare's ideas of feminism hidden under the apparent story are illustrated in the paper. |
