| 摘 要： | 谈及《简·爱》,人们总是津津乐道于罗切斯特与简·爱之间刻骨铭心的曲折爱情,以及简·爱自尊自爱、自强不息、大胆追求独立人格与男女平等权利的精神特质,而对于小说中的另一位女性角色伯莎.梅森则明显忽略、漠视甚至误解。文章拟从疯癫而又清醒、角色定位与人物原型、人物塑造的特定意蕴等方面入手,尝试解读这一重要而又特殊的艺术形象。

| Abstract: | Reading "Jane Eyre",people tend to talk about the love story of Jane and Rochester.Jane's self-respected and self-dependent character are also respected with her high spirit for sex equality.However,another woman character,Bertha,is often ignored or even misunderstood.From the character of sometimes mad and sometimes sober,the paper tries explaining the unique artistic image. |
