摘    要:古今中外关于学习语言的背诵记录很多。学习者在背诵时主要是背诵一些固定表达即所谓语块。笔者的实验证明:背诵能促进英语词汇的学习从而促进英语学习技能的提高。这种古老的学习方法至今仍然有着它的作用。

Abstract:There are too many people reciting when they are learning English.They are mainly reciting chunks when they are reciting.It is proved that reciting can promote English vocabulary learning and the improvement of English skills. This old way of learning English still possesses its effective function today.
