Cultural Influences on the Symbolic Meanings of Color Language Code

Language is an essential part and the cartier of culture, which infiltrates among different national cultures. The characteristics of the national culture are shown in its vocabulary during its development. In this article, the great influences of cultural tradition on its symbolic meanings are discussed based on the similarities and differences of color language codes in Chinese, English, Russian and French, which is from the angles of politics, religion, foreign culture infiltration, traditions and esthetic appreciation. It is hoped that it will help to understand the connotations of color language code better.
