从图式理论看小说《围城》的隐喻和主题

小说《围城》自发表以来,众多学者对其进行了不同角度的解读。然而大多数的研究多局限于传统的叙事学研究,从语言学的角度尤其是从图式理论的角度分析《围城》中的隐喻及主题的构建目前还较为少见。近年来,隐喻不再仅仅被看作是一种修辞手段,而被认为是人类认识和感知世界的重要方式。图式理论是隐喻构建的重要理论,对于研究隐喻有着重要意义。小说中出现了大量与容器图式相关的隐喻,从图式理论这一认知语言学的重要理论出发,研究小说中出现的与容器图式相关的隐喻,认为这些隐喻是对小说主题的揭示,即"城外的人想冲出去,城里的人想逃进来"这一人类普遍的围城心态。

Study of the Metaphor and Theme of The Besieged City by Schema Theory

Since the novel The Besieged City was published ,many scholars have conducted research on the novel from various aspects .However ,most of the research on the novel is limited within the scope of traditional narratology .The study of metaphors in the novel from the perspective of linguistics especially in schema theory is rarely seen .In recent years ,metaphor is no longer viewed as a rhetoric device ,but as an important way for people to view and sense the world .Schema is an important theory in metaphor con-struction and is of great significance to the research of metaphors .It is discovered by the author that a large number of metaphors relating to the container schema appear in the novel .In this paper ,the author intends to study the metaphors related to the container schema from the perspective of schema theory ,a vi-tal cognitive linguistic theory ,and interpret and explain the theme of the novel w hich is the universal men-tality of mankind for searching things they do not possess .
