| Abstract: | Not only the successful portrayal of Jane made the novel Jane Eyre immortal, it is also immortal for its author＇s ruthless exposure and violent criticism of the existing social reality. The paper deliherately discussed the criticism in the novel. Meanwhile, this kind of criticism also has its limitation in virtue of the influence of the social existence at that time. |
