语境顺应论视角下理想翻译模式的建构

Verschueren提出的顺应论认为,语言的使用过程就是语言使用者按照交际环境和交际对象对语言做出动态的选择的过程。翻译本身也是一种选择的艺术。从语境顺应的视角出发,翻译可以看成是一种动态的语境顺应的过程。该文意在探讨语境顺应论对翻译的阐释力并试图在此理论上建构能解释翻译现象并能指导翻译实践的理论模式。

The Ideal Translation Model under the Contextual Adaptation Theory

The adaptation theory proposed by Verschueren illustrates the process of language use is a dynamic process of selection making by language users accoding to the communication environment and the communication objects.Translation itself is a choice of art.From the perspective of contextual adaptation,translation can be seen as a dynamic process of contextual adapta tion.This paper intends to explore the force of contextual adaptation theory and attempts to construct a theoretical model to guide the practice of translation.
