On Problems and Solutions in the Teaching of Business English Correspondence

Business English Correspondence plays a significant role of communication in the international business activities.How the teaching of this course is carried out will,to a large extent,determine the ability of the students in their communication with overseas customers in their future work.Through analysis of the current teaching situation and of the feedback from the business circle,some problems relating to teaching of the course are identified,and accordingly,a series of solutions,including re newing of the mind,organization of teaching contents,innovation of teaching methods and college-enterprise cooperation,are thus put forward with a view of better enhancing the communication competence of the students through business English corre spondence and finally achieving the goals of business English correspondence in serving the business circle with respect to estab lishment of business-relations,acquisition of orders,settlements of disputes and so on.
