Discussion on the Educational Reform of the Participatory Learning of Economic Majors for the Purpose of Nurturing Applied Talents

For the purpose of nurturing talents with practical skills, this article aims to tackle the issues arising from the tradi tional education of economics courses, and to propose an interactive and participatory teaching methodology. The objective is to cultivate a cooperative classroom setting is which the students play a principle role while the teacher acts a leading role. In this manner, the students would be trained in their innovative capability, academic aptitude, problem solving techniques, and the rele vant qualities to be a contributing team player. This article also covers in-depth analysis on the issues worth discussing while applying this teaching methodology.
