| Abstract: | This paper discusses Ai Qing's poems as a special genre for all the individuality embedded in them. The unique beauty of his poems is built on the combination of profundity and liberty, grandeur and delicacy, lyric expression and philosophical reasoning, simplicity and flamboyance, so as to enable his poems to be comparable to those by Xu Zhi Mo, Dai Shu Wang and Guo Mo Ruo and other great poets in Chinese poetry. |
