光辉的思想科学的论断——纪念邓小平科学技术是第一生产力科学论断提出20周年

本文为纪念邓小平同志提出科学技术是第一生产力论断２０周年而作。文中第一部分论述邓小平科学技术是第一生产力论断的伟大意义，认为这一论断是对马克思主义理论的新发展，是对人类社会历史发展的世纪性总结；第二部分强调要完整地理解邓小平的科学论断，文中指出从邓小平关于科学在社会发展中的作用、发展科技与尊重和使用人才的关系、发展科技与发展教育的关系、加强科技与经济建设的联系等思想来理解这一论断；第三部分提出了全面、深入地落实邓小平科学论断的若干建议和认识

A SHINING THOUGHT AND A SCIENTIFIC INFERENCE

The first part of this paper deals with the great significance of Deng Xiaoping's inference that science and technology is the first productive force. This inference is a new development of Marxism and an epochal summation of the development of the human society. The second part of the paper stresses the allround understanding of Deng Xiaoping's scientific inference, ponting out that the inference must be understood in the light of effect of science in the development of society, the relation between developing science and technology and valuing gifted personnel, the relation between developing science and technology and developing education, and the strenthening of the connection between science and technology and economic construction. The third part puts forward some proposals for putting into effect in an all-round way Deng Xiaoping's scientific inference.
