论民族地区教育优先发展的重要性

没有民族地区教育事业的优先发展，就没有民族地区国民素质的提高、人力资源的开发和科学技术的进步，也就不会有民族地区经济持续稳定和快速的发展；民族地区要谋求发展，首要之举是发展教育。提高从业者的文化科学知识，强化他们的综合素质；发展民族地区教育的关键在于建设一支高素质的教师队伍；在国家重点建设计划中，应优先保证民族地区高等教育的发展；教育科研部门要加强对民族地区教育的研究，使民族地区教育获得健康高效的发展。

To Give Priority to Education Development in Minority Area

To give no priority to the education of Minority Area means no quality improvement of personnel resources and advance of science and technology, and therefore there could hardly be a fast and stable economic development in these areas. The development of minority area depends on education as well as the improvement and enhancement of quality of personnel resource, so it is vital to build a group of high quality teachers. To ensure the priority of education in minority area should be reconfirmed in the whole project of our construction. Education and academic research institutes should carry out more research to foster rapid and healthy development of minority area.
