摘    要:林风眠是中国现代绘画的先驱者,他提出"中西调和"的理论发展中国的现代绘画,目的是通过吸收东西方文化艺术的精髓使中国的现代艺术顺应时代发展的潮流,实现中国艺术向现代转型。他选择的方法是以西方艺术作为参照系,但又立足于中国的传统,从而促进民族艺术的发展。林风眠的"中西调和"理论由民族艺术的现代化、东西方艺术的融会、情感与理智的相互平衡及个性、民族性和时代性的辩证统一等命题的组成,构成了一个完整的"中西调和"理论的框架,开创了中国现代艺术理论与实践相结合的体系。

Abstract:Lin Fengmian is a pioneer of modem Chinese painting. He put forward the theory of "Chinese and West- em reconcile" to promote the development of modem painting by absorbing the essence of the culture and art of the East and West and finally realized the modem transformation Chinese art. His choice of method is based on West- em art as a frame of reference, and the tradition of China, so as to promote the development of national art. Lin Fengrnian~ "Chinese and Western reconcile" theory is formed by the modernization of the national art, mixture of Eastern and Western art, the art of time and space conversion, emotional and intellectual balance between person- ality and nationality and era. They constitute a complete Chinese and Western reconcile theoretical framework, and create a combined system of theory and practice of modem art.
