| 摘 要： | 雷蒙德·威廉斯是二战后英国重要的马克思主义文学批评家和文化理论家。在马克思主义的影响下,威廉斯批判了英国的精英文化理论传统,对“文化”、“大众”观念进行历史审视和重新建构,进而超越传统的文化贵族立场而站在整个人类文化前途的立场上看待大众文化的发展。在大众文化研究的理论立场和理论基础这些关键问题上作出了不同于法兰克福学派文化批判理论的解答,为大众文化研究提供了新的理论思路。

| Abstract: | Raymond Williams was an important Marist literary and cultural theorist in Britain after World War II. Under the influence of Marxism, he criticized the tradition of the British elitetheory on culture, reviewed and reconstructed the concepts of "culture" and "populace", so that he was able to look at the development of popular culture by moving his stand point from the tradition of the nobility to the future of human culture as a whole. On the key questions of the theoretical stand and basis in the studies of popular culture, he gave his answers which were different from Frankfurt School's theory on cultural criticism, providing the studies of popular culture with a new train of thought and theory. |
