形态学在大学英语教学中的应用

摘    要:从形态学角度来看,词素分自由词素和黏着词素.从英语单词构成法和来源看,英语词汇发展形成方式主要有以下几种:英语外来词;英语转换词;英语缩略词;词素构成词.据此,在英语教学中可采用词根词缀知识、形态学知识学习新词,词汇类比与辨析方法,提高单词记忆和语言应用的能力.

Abstract:English morphology has free and bound morphemes. By word-formation we can conclude that English vocabulary achieves development mainly through the following steps: borrowing,conversion,acro- nyms,and morphologization. Accordingly, roots and affixes, syntactics and the related knowledge can be used to improve teaching efficiency and learning effect.
