孙犁的思想矛盾及其艺术解决--重读《铁木前传》

《铁木前传》是孙犁创作于50年代中后期的一部重要作品。发表以来颇多争议,但往往各执一词,未能探究其真正含义。实际上它集中体现了孙犁思想的内在矛盾,是其矛盾的艺术解决。一方面在表面上孙犁认同主流意识形态话语,另一方面在深层次上孙犁又对人本主义个性自由思想充满向往,因而,作品中充满矛盾,而正是这些矛盾使这篇小说成为传世之作。

Sun Li's ideological contradiction and his artistic resolution--Reanalysis of the novel Tiemu

The novel Tiemu is one of the most important works by Sun Li in late 1950s. For it gives rise to a disputable analysis and a critical comment ever since, but not getting anywhere substantial and conclusive. Based upon the long-term research by the author and the disputes by critics, the author of the paper proposes that this very novel reflect the novelist's ideological contradictions identified by means of artistic resolution. Specifically, the novelist accepts the ideological discourse of the main stream on the one hand, and utters his desire for the individual freedom on the other. Therefore, the work is full of contradictions, which, in turn, enable the novel to be his masterpiece.
