| 摘 要： | 英语修辞格双关是重要的修辞格之一,它是利用同音异义或同形异义的现象使一个词或一个句子同时表达两层不同的意思,以达到一种幽默,诙谐或讽刺的语言效果,所以该种修辞手法又常常运用到笑话中。该文对运用了双关修辞格的一些笑话作一浅析,以领略其赋予笑话的独特幽默韵味。

| Abstract: | Pun is one of the most important English figures of speech. To achieve humorous or ironic effect, it applies one word, phrase or sentence to express two different meanings depending upon homonyms and homophones. So it's usually used in jokes to amuse people. The paper tries to analyze pun in jokes to help readers appreciate the humorous charm of it. |
