论楚“士”的形成与发展

楚“士”经历了一个由早期对男子的通称发展到以仿诸夏立国后的低级贵族之代称。随着时代的发展特别是宗法制的解体及私学的兴起为平民入“士”提供了途径，士亦转化为知识分子的统称。由此春秋战国时期楚士阶层不断壮大，他们凭借自身丰富的知识与技能，竞相展示自己的才华，有力地推动了社会的发展进程。

The Conformation and Development of Chu Intellectuals

The intellectuals of Chu had experienced from the general term of the man in the early stage to the lower nobility learned from Zhou Dynasty in the later stage. With the development of the times, especially the disintegration of the patriarchal law system and the rise of the private school, the common men had a way to be the intellectual, so the Chu intellectuals developed very quickly in the Spring and Autumn Period by virtue of their knowledge and skills, as a powerful impetus to the process of social development.
