中、加大学生英语课文阅读眼动过程比较研究

摘    要:本研究以中国大学生与加拿大大学生为样本,探讨了二之间英语阅读眼动过程的相同点与不同点。结果表明,(1)中国大学生的阅读速度(每分钟240—250个单词)慢于加拿大大学生的阅读速度(每分钟270—290个单词);(2)在阅读插图课方面。加拿大学生明显优于中国学生;(3)在阅读难度较大的课方面。加拿大学生也明显优于中国学生。这些区别的主要原因在于加拿大学生在阅读连贯的课时能够更多地注视每个内容词即实词。而且该词的上下特征对意义理解的影响比较小。

Abstract:A set of Chinese students and another set of Canadian students were used as human subjects to take part in a comparison study of processes of eye movements during reading,Saccades,regressions and fixations were three of the dependent variables in three experiments,The results of the tree experiments show that Canadian college students read leisure material,such as magazine article,at about 285 words per minute.But Chinese college students read it at about 245 words per minute.This rate obviously varies with either difficulties or pictures of the material.The reason for this is that Canadian college students fixate at each content word more carefully than do Chinese college students during reading.
