试论南宋定都临安

绍兴八年(1138年)前,南宋政权在选择都城时,朝中大臣的意见主要集中在临安和建康两个地方。在地理位置上,它们都易于控制富庶的江南,经济及交通等因素不是决定两者谁作为都城的首要条件。建康的优势在进取,临安的优势在防守。南宋政权定都临安,除了实力不济与气候因素之外,更重要的是其深刻的文化审美趋向和审美情趣。

About the Capital Settlement of the South Song Dynasty
