| 摘 要： | 作为人文女祖的嫘祖,其传说事迹大多与纺织业有关,嫘祖的传说故里目前统计的有十多种说法之多,但是嫘祖传说与本地纺织业发展结合起来并促进本地纺织业发展的却主要是巴蜀地区。文章将巴蜀作为一个整体,主要论述分析了巴蜀魏晋南北朝以前这段时期纺织业发展的概况。为了使先秦到魏晋南北朝时期的各个时段的论述更加明确,笔者将这个大时段分为先秦、秦汉三国、魏晋南北朝三个时期,分时期、较详细地叙述分析了这一时段巴蜀地区纺织业的发展及其与周边地区的交流。
