| Abstract: | A review of the history of Chinese name authority created by the National Library of China is provided here. It is pointed out the problems of the additional element about study field in the heading for personal name and indicated the importance of the additional element in unauthodtative heading for personal name. Some virtual corporate body names are analyzed here. Four suggestions about the work of Chinese name authority are presented. |
