Shallow the Editor Role in the Process of the Large Scale Publishing Project

This paper takes the author’s experience in participation in editing a serie of comic-strip type picture story books named A Single Spark can Start a Prairie Fire as a case to expound his views on the roles of editor in a major publishing project.The author points out that the editor plays three roles: the communicator and coordinator of a variety of relations,the person with team cooperation spirit,and the good student who is good at learning and is diligent in learning.
